The Chinese company Xiaomi has officially unveiled a new home router with support for wireless networks of the latest generation Wi-Fi 6. A model called Redmi AX3000 received four independent signal amplifiers and 256 MB of memory.
The basis of the novelty was an unnamed one-chip system of the latest generation from the American company Qualcomm. The router supports 160 MHz bandwidth, which allows the device to build a hybrid mesh network with other Xiaomi and Redmi devices.
The novelty also supports Xiaomi’s proprietary Easy Connect quick installation system. Redmi AX3000 will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow, July 20. Meanwhile Nokia is trying to ban an affordable Chinese smartphone in Russia.
