It can also broadcast in real time what the pet is doing.
The Chinese giant Xiaomi has once again decided to surprise its fans. This time, the company has developed an unusual robot Pumpkii designed to entertain pets.
In addition to entertaining the pet during the absence of the owners of the house, the robot is able to broadcast in real time what the animal is doing. Pumpkii received four wheels, a camera with a 2 megapixel wide-angle lens, as well as built-in Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-F modules. The robot is powered by an ARM Cortex A9 processor with 512 MB of RAM and an 8 GB drive. With the help of a special mobile application, users can not only track the animal, but also control the movements of the robot and take pictures.
Due to the fact that the robot is equipped with a 220 mAh battery, the battery life can be up to 8 hours. Interestingly, if the battery charge drops to 40%, Pumpkin automatically moves to the docking station. The company has priced the standard version of the robot at $ 149, while there is a version with a robotic arm for $ 249.
