The Chinese company Vivo presented its new smartphone Vivo Y31s, which became the world’s first gadget based on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor, created specifically for inexpensive smartphones with support for fifth-generation networks.
The chip is made using an 8nm process technology. It contains eight Kryo 460 cores operating at a frequency of up to 2 GHz and an Adreno 619 GPU, a Snapdragon X51 5G modem, and an advanced Hexagon 686 signal processor. Vivo Y31s is equipped with a 6.58-inch display with a resolution Full HD + 2340 x 1080 pixels with a 90Hz high refresh rate.
The screen occupies 90.61% of the surface of the front panel of the smartphone. A small waterdrop notch houses an 8MP front-facing camera. The main camera of the smartphone is endowed with sensors with a resolution of 13 and 2 megapixels. The device’s autonomy is answered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18 W fast charging. The smartphone is priced at $ 260.
