Acer has officially unveiled a new laptop running the Chrome OS operating system, which is positioned as the world’s first 17-inch Chromebook. The novelty has received a 17.3-inch screen with narrow bezels Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels with anti-glare coating.
The basis of the novelty is the unnamed “newest” Intel processor. Mention is made of the innovative Intel Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology, which allows the laptop to provide 3x faster connection speeds than standard Wi-Fi 5. Built-in 82-degree Full HD webcam and two additional digital Microphones provide clearer picture and sound during remote meetings.
There are also two full-size upward-facing speakers. Dual USB 3.2 Type-C ports provide ultra-fast data transfer, video streaming and battery charging. The device is also equipped with two USB 3.2 Type-A ports and a microSD card reader. And yesterday the world’s first laptop with a touchpad built into the keyboard was announced.
