Today Xiaomi has published the second official render of the Mi Band 6 fitness bracelet. If only the device’s silhouette appeared in the previous picture, now it is a full-fledged render, albeit cropped. The inscription says that the novelty will debut on March 29 during the global presentation of new products – where they will also present Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite 5G on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G platform, Mi Notebook Pro 2021 with discrete graphics GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, advanced and expensive Mi Mix 4.
Confirmation of the premiere date is good, but it is much more interesting to look at the display, which has become both larger and better: now it is not just a rectangle inscribed in an oval – the screen takes up almost all the space of the front panel of the fitness bracelet. The graphics are clearly better too. Conceptual promising MI Bands with such a screen appeared even before the announcement of the Mi Band 5 and caused heated discussions on the Web, but such a Mi Band 5 was never launched into the series.
The Mi Band 6 is also credited with NFC support, a GPS receiver (for the first time in the series), blood oxygenation detection, and integration with Telegram and WhatsApp. Sales start, obviously, at the very beginning of April.
