The Chinese company Unitree Robotics has launched sales of the four-legged Go1 robot in several modifications. The price starts at $ 2,700 (about 193 thousand rubles), while for the famous Spot produced by Boston Dynamics you will have to pay $ 74,500 (about 5.3 million rubles).
By the way, this is not the most affordable robot dog: Welian introduced the AlphaDog, which is able to move at a speed of 15 km / h, maintains balance and costs $ 2,400 (about 170 thousand rubles).
Go1 is for ordinary people who need an assistant. You can, for example, go for a run and attach a water bottle or smartphone to the robot, and the robot dog will follow you.
Now a modification of the Go1 Air is available on the site for $ 2,700 (about 193 thousand rubles), but later the Go1 version for $ 3,500 (about 250 thousand rubles) and Go1 Edu for $ 8,500 (about 610 thousand rubles) will go on sale. The last two versions received more efficient chips and more sensors.
Automatic following a person and overcoming obstacles is available in all models, but only the “senior” are able to reach speeds of up to 17 km / h.
The manufacturer claims that the robot will be a “companion all day”, but to be honest, it’s hard to believe in this: the same Spot can work on a single charge for about 90 minutes.
