On February 16, 2021, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) granted Samsung Electronics a patent for a “display device.” The patent is now also included in the database of the World Intellectual Property Organization. The 18-page documentation shows and describes the new Samsung Galaxy Tab with a flexible display.

The tablet is equipped with a single foldable screen, which has no holes, but received cutouts in the area of ​​the hinge part. The source says that in these places there is a camera and flash, which will be convenient to use in landscape orientation.

This will be the only camera of the device, since there is no secondary display or main camera on the outside of the case. On the left is the on / off button and speaker, on the right is another speaker and a USB-C connector.

It is not yet known when Samsung will unveil the foldable tablet. The manufacturer plans to launch the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 this year.
