According to a new report from MacOtakara, Apple will release the third-generation iPhone SE and the second-generation AirPods Pro in March-April this year. What is known about new items?
There is more information about the headphones: the case will become more compact in width by 6 mm, changes in thickness and height are minimal. This is probably due to the headphones’ new shape, which was previously known: the headphones will lose “legs” with control sensors and will be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds. There was information that the headphones would come in two sizes to please all users, but this is hard to believe.
There is a minimum of information for the smartphone: only the estimated date of the announcement and information about two devices, one of which with the Plus prefix. I see two paths of development: Apple will update the iPhone 8 Plus, as happened with the second generation iPhone 8 and SE, or introduce the third generation iPhone SE in the iPhone XR design, but with the latest hardware. Of course, XR will disappear from sale.
By the timing of the release of the smartphone, it looks very logical. The iPhone 8 was released in 2017, and the second-generation SE in 2020. The iPhone XR was introduced in 2018, so it’s time to update it in 2021.
