A team of developers of “smart” solutions based on artificial intelligence has presented a backpack-assistant for visually impaired people.
A computing module is integrated inside a fairly compact backpack. There are several sensors on the backpack. A camera is also provided, it is located on the jacket-vest, and the battery, designed for eight hours of operation, is hidden in a belt bag.
The backpack has speakers that, in conjunction with sensors, inform about road signs, crossings, stairs and curbs to make life easier for a visually impaired person.
