The range of the Casio company has been replenished with the first smartwatches in the G-Shock family. The GSW-H1000-1 model runs Wear OS, and Casio has previously released smartwatches with this operating system, but within the Pro Trek family.

Unlike the 20 ATM protection classification, which is sometimes interpreted in the same way, in fact, in the case of new watches, Casio directly indicates the maximum depth, while the 20 ATM class actually implies that the device is able to withstand immersion at shallow depths, that is, it is suitable for divers with a number of conditions.

The GSW-H1000-1 are equipped with a heart rate sensor, barometer, altimeter, accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS module, they boast titanium body elements and a double screen: full color and monochrome, designed to save energy. True, the company does not speak about autonomy, but the Pro Trek models with similar parameters had an autonomy of about a day and a half in normal mode and up to a month in Multi Timepiece Mode. True, GSW-H1000-1 could have received a new Qualcomm platform, but there is no data on this yet.

There is no information on the price either, but the mentioned Casio Pro Trek models entered the market with a price of about $ 500.
