The Chinese company TCL presented in Russia another extremely affordable smartphone – the TCL 20Y model. The device has already appeared in domestic retailers, for example, in the Svyaznoy chain of stores at a price of 12,990 rubles.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS-screen with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels with a waterdrop notch for an 8-megapixel front camera. At the back is a triple camera with a 48MP main sensor, complemented by a couple of 2MP secondary sensors.
The novelty is based on the eight-core MediaTek Helio P22 platform. The smartphone received 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB permanent drive with support for microSD cards with a capacity of up to 512 GB. A 4000 mAh battery is responsible for the autonomy of the device. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back, an NFC chip for contactless payments, a 3.5mm audio jack and a MicroUSB port.
The smartphone runs on Android 11 operating system with TCL UI shell. And today a rugged smartphone with a giant 13,200 mAh battery was announced.
