In addition to the Sony Xperia 5 III, Sony has announced a new mid-range smartphone called the expected Xperia 10 III. It is the third model in the Xperia 10 line to debut in 2019 and also the first mid-range Xperia with 5G connectivity.
The smartphone received a 6-inch OLED display with HDR 10 support and support for a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. Sony has made the smartphone 3 mm shorter and also reduced the thickness by 1 mm, making the Xperia 10 III even more compact.
The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 6, in addition, the smartphone complies with the IP68 degree of protection. The equipment includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, as well as support for LDAC and Hi-Res Audio.
The main camera has a 12MP image sensor, the wide-angle camera is 8MP. The telephoto lens works in conjunction with another 8 megapixel image sensor. Continuous shooting at 10 fps is available with automatic exposure adjustment for each frame, as on older Xperia models.
The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 690 5G SoC, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable flash memory. The battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh. Protective cases for the device have also been announced.
The Sony Xperia 10 III is available in black, white, blue and pink. There is no price yet, but the smartphone should be released in early summer.
