The flagship Samsung Exynos 2200 SoC is expected to be officially announced soon. Earlier, Samsung and AMD confirmed that Samsung’s new SoC, Exynos, will have a GPU based on the RDNA2 architecture, which was first introduced in the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

A well-known insider under the nickname Ice Universe announced on his Weibo page that he received a schematic diagram of the Exynos 2200 SoC, confirming that the platform will be equipped with a 6-core GPU with RDNA2 architecture.

According to previously published information, the Exynos 2200 outperforms the Snapdragon 895 in CPU and GPU performance. It is also claimed that the Exynos 2200 will be faster than the Apple A15 in the graphics test, but the Apple A15’s CPU will be the fastest of the three new SoCs.

The Exynos 2200 CPU should use a new generation three-cluster architecture. The mobile platform will receive a super-core Cortex-X1, three cores Cortex-A78 and four small cores Cortex-A55.

This platform should be used not only in smartphones, but also in tablets and laptops.
