The American company Garmin has officially unveiled the new Venu 2S smartwatch. The model received a 1.3-inch screen with a resolution of 416 × 416 pixels and a protected case that withstand immersion underwater to a depth of 50 meters (5 ATM).
The gadget can track changes in heart rate around the clock and analyze the oxygen content in the blood, monitor the quality and duration of sleep, and assess the level of stress and breathing intensity.
A GPS / GLONASS satellite receiver, compass, barometric altimeter, gyroscope, accelerometer, thermometer, and light sensor are provided. The watch can last up to 11 days on a single charge. A more compact version of the Venu 2S was also presented, equipped with a 1.1-inch screen with 360 × 360 pixels. This watch has an autonomy of up to 10 days.
In both cases, there is fast charging: 10 minutes at the outlet add up to 1 day in smartwatch mode or 1 hour in GPS + music mode. And yesterday Sony presented “party” wireless speakers with an autonomy of up to 30 hours.
