The flagship foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 has appeared in the database of the Chinese regulator TENAA, which has listed the key characteristics of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 runs under the model number SM-F9260 and at 6.4mm thick when unfolded it will be thinner than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G. In addition, the new foldable smartphone should have an improved hinge that will leave almost no space between the foldable panels, meaning it will be quite compact and folded.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G are 128.1 x 158.2 mm. The external screen has a diagonal of 6.2 inches, and the battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh. The smartphone will run Android 11 operating system.
The most important innovation should be a sub-screen camera located on the right side of the foldable display. The smartphone will be based on the Snapdragon 888 single-chip system, it will receive 12 GB of RAM and an ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus.
TENAA has also approved the Galaxy Z Flip3 clamshell with model number SM-F7110 for release, but has not yet revealed the specifications of the device.
