The South Korean company Samsung has officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Book Go and Galaxy Book Go 5G laptops, which have the same specifications and differ only in the single-chip system used.
The Samsung Galaxy Book Go features a 14-inch TFT Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display with an aspect ratio of 16: 9. The 4G version is based on the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 8nm SoC with Adreno 618 graphics. The 5G version uses the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2.5 7nm platform.
Both laptops can be equipped with 6 or 8 GB LPDDR4x RAM, as well as 64 GB or 128 GB eUFS flash memory. The Galaxy Book Go runs Windows 10 Home or Pro and comes with two 1.5W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The laptop works up to 18 hours, the battery capacity is 42.3 Wh, it supports 25 W fast charging. The Galaxy Book Go also features an HD camera, microSD card slot, nanoSIM card slot, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 51, USB 2.0, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone / microphone jack.
The Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Book Go is priced at $ 349 and will launch on June 10th. There is no information yet about the prices for versions of the device with support for 5G and LTE, they are expected in the fall.
