Samsung has been gradually improving the characteristics of its Galaxy A series of smartphones with each generation. The upcoming Galaxy A32 is likely to continue this trend. The smartphone was spotted in the popular Geekbench benchmark database, where it showed a noticeable performance gain over its predecessor.
The previous Galaxy A31 smartphone is based on the MediaTek Helio P65 processor. It scores 351 and 1257 in GeekBench in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Simultaneously, for the Galaxy A32, which will be based on the Dimensity 720 chip, these figures are 478 and 1595 points, which corresponds to a 30% increase in performance. Also, the upcoming affordable smartphone will receive an updated design to match the current Samsung lineup. Otherwise, the device’s technical characteristics have not yet been disclosed, but it is assumed that the main camera will boast a 48-megapixel main sensor.
The cost of the smartphone will be about $ 365. It is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2021.
