ZTE has introduced a new smartwatch called ZTE Watch GT, which was formally announced two weeks ago, but only now the manufacturer has revealed all the details.
This is the company’s new round watch with a 1.19-inch curved AMOLED display. The case is made of ultra-light aluminum alloy, so the watch weighs only 30 grams. The ZTE Watch GT supports 16 sports modes, including outdoor running, indoor running, walking, cycling, hiking, swimming, yoga, strength training, basketball, soccer, and more.
Apart from the usual set of functions such as tracking calories, speed, steps and sleep monitoring, the ZTE Watch GT also supports GPS positioning system. Thanks to GPS support, the ZTE Watch GT has a special football mode heat map function, where the watch will track your playing positions. The watch supports 24-hour heart rate monitoring along with abnormal heart rate alerts. There is also a sensor for determining the level of oxygen in the blood.
The ZTE Watch GT is water resistant (5 ATM), so you can wear it even while swimming. The watch can also display notifications for calls, messages, and so on. There is remote photography, music playback control and screen activation when you raise your wrist. ZTE claims up to 15 days of battery life with normal use and up to 23 days in power save mode.
The ZTE Watch GT is sold in China for about $ 90.
