The Japanese company Square Enix has released the re-release of the cult RPG Final Fantasy VIII for mobile devices based on the Android and iOS operating systems.
The original version of Final Fantasy VIII debuted back in 1999 for the PlayStation, and then appeared in the version for Windows. In 2019, Square Enix released the HD re-release of Final Fantasy VIII for platforms such as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
In the same year, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VIII had already sold over 9.6 million copies, making it the best-selling title in the series after Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is now available for smartphones and tablets in the App Store and Google Play. Until April 4, it is offered for $ 16.99, and then it will rise in price to $ 20.99. Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is available in Russian stores for 1,590 rubles. The size of the game is rather big – over 2.5 GB, so it is worth making sure that the device has enough free memory space.
