Lu Weibing said that 70% of Redmi users are young people who spend a lot of time playing games. Gaming phones should be in high demand among Redmi users, especially if the company offers excellent value for money, as it usually does.
According to previously published information, this gaming phone will be equipped with the flagship Dimensity 1200 SoC, which has already appeared in the Realme GT Neo smartphone. MediaTek Dimensity 1200 received the main fast Cortex-A78 core, which operates at 3.0 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores at 2.6 Hz and four energy efficient Cortex-A55 cores operating at 2.0 Hz. The SoC also has a 9-core Mali-G77 graphics accelerator.
It is reported that the battery capacity of the Redmi gaming phone exceeds 4500 mAh, while the device will support the technology of ultra-fast charging of unknown capacity.
It was also announced that the Redmi K40 series smartphones have become the official gaming devices for the Call of Duty mobile shooter.
