Realme set an all-time record ahead of Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, Apple, and Huawei

The company sold 50 million smartphones the fastest

Realme, which celebrated two years since its founding in May, confirmed at the end of July that it holds the title of the fastest growing brand in the smartphone market.

At that time, it was announced that sales of smartphones worldwide amounted to 40 million units. At the end of August, the company increased its total smartphone sales to 45 million, that is, the company began selling a million smartphones every week, while in the first year and a half Realme sold only 10 million phones.

Earlier, Realme announced that it plans to sell 50 million phones for the entire 2020, but back in August it became clear that this bar would be taken much earlier. And so it happened. In less than two and a half years, the company reported that it already has more than 50 million smartphone users.

It also became known that Realme set a record ahead of Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, Apple, Huawei in terms of the speed with which it achieved such a result. The following graph shows how many quarters the company sold 50 million smartphones in.
