Sideload Helper app lets you use Pebble files on modern smartphones!
Pebble smartwatches made a big splash in the market at one time. Having remained virtually without direct competitors, Pebble eventually sank into oblivion. First, Fitbit bought the company for patents, and now Fitbit has moved under the wing of Google.
Be that as it may, Pebble watches were loved by many, and even after the company’s closure, thanks to the Rebble project, the watch could be used. But on modern smartphones, Pebble files (.pbw, .pbz, .pbl) are often not recognized correctly and cannot be installed.
However, thanks to the efforts of the two developers of the Rebble project, there is a way out. An app called Sideload Helper is already available on Google Play. It allows you to open Pebble files on modern Android smartphones and then transfer them to the branded Pebble app for installation. Plus, the app even translates outdated links to Pebble’s app stores.
