The launch of production will take place in July, and the set-top box will go on sale in September or October this year. At the same time, the peak of production will fall on October – December.
The exact specs of the console are still unknown. It is expected to receive a 7-inch OLED display manufactured by Samsung Display, as well as a more powerful NVIDIA graphics chip with DLSS support. With its help, it will be possible to display graphics in 4K on a TV connected to the new Switch iteration.
According to analysts, the update will be followed by an increase in prices. Two versions will remain on sale: the new one and the Nintendo Switch Lite for $ 199. The regular $ 299 Nintendo Switch will be discontinued. The new generation, apparently, will cost about $ 399.
