Specifications of Motorola Capri and Capri Plus smartphones have appeared on the web, preparing for the announcement at the beginning of the coming year. According to the German resource TechNik News, new items belong to the budget category.
The Capri smartphone (model XT2117) will receive a display with HD + resolution (1600 × 720 pixels) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It will have an 8-megapixel selfie camera based on a Samsung S5K4H7 sensor with ultra-wide-angle optics and a triple camera on the back with a 48-megapixel main module with Samsung S5KGM1ST sensor, 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02B1B scene depth sensor, and 2-megapixel GalaxyCore GC02M1 macro sensor.
The second Motorola Capri Plus smartphone (model XT2129) will feature an HD + display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has a 13MP front camera with a Samsung S5K4H7 sensor. In contrast, its rear camera includes a 64MP main OmniVision OV64B sensor, a 2MP OmniVision OV02B1B sensor for scene depth detection, a 13MP Samsung S5K3I6 with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP GalaxyCore GC02M1 for macro photography.
Both models come with dual SIM card slots and will ship with Android 11 pre-installed.
According to a recent leak, the XT-2117 may debut on the market under Moto G Play 2021. However, the final marketing names of the Capri and Capri Plus smartphones will be announced closer to the date of their announcement.
