When prices stabilize – it is not yet clear
According to the latest reports, DRAM and NAND flash prices are expected to drop 10% in the fourth quarter of this year from prices in the current quarter.
DigiTimes cites its own sources that the industry is preparing for a drop in prices. The reason for the fall in prices was overproduction, as a result of which an excess of memory chips accumulated in warehouses. This fall in prices is expected to continue in the future.
The source suggests memory manufacturers will adjust capacity utilization to stem the price drop. It is not yet clear when prices will stabilize.
