DigiTimes will launch miniLED displays for the new MacBook Pros in the third quarter of this year, according to a DigiTimes report based on industry sources.

Earlier, insiders reported that the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 will receive miniLED displays. Exactly the same as in the new iPad Pro 12.9. Also, laptops will receive a new design, more connectors, a new system-on-chip Apple M1X / M2 and will lose the Touch Bar.

However, several insiders, including Bloomberg’s John Prosser and Mark Gourmet, have reported that at least one new MacBook Pro will be shown at WWDC 2021, which kicks off on June 7th. Whom to believe?

Here’s another rumor: iPad will arrive with OLED displays in 2022. What specific models will receive the new displays is not reported.

Earlier, Min-Chi Kuo reported that the iPad Air will receive an OLED display, but then what about the Pro versions? Additional option to choose from?
