Apple recently released three new laptops with its own ARM-based M1 processor. These were MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini. With this, the company officially began the transition from Intel to its own ARM-based Apple Silicon. So far, reviews of the new MacBook have been positive. They demonstrate higher performance compared to their intel counterparts. Moreover, they work longer.
Today there are reports that Apple is already developing laptops on a more powerful chipset – Apple M2.
One Chinese insider announced that Apple would release the 5nm M2 chipset in early 2021. And along with it, the manufacturer will show the new 13- and 16-inch MacBook Pro.
By the way, the report says that Apple will release several GaN chargers around the same time.
