According to Bloomberg, Apple is working on an updated version of the iPad mini, which will feature a design update for the first time in six years.
The updated iPad mini will have narrower screen bezels. In addition, Apple can also opt out of the familiar Home button. Sources have reported on several occasions that Apple is working on a new version of the iPad mini, which can have a display ranging in size from 8.5 to 9 inches, which is significantly larger than the current version with a 7.9-inch display.
In addition to the new iPad mini, Apple is also working on a thinner version of the entry-level, low-cost iPad aimed at students. The iPad mini and the new low-cost iPad are due to go on sale later this year.
The Bloomberg post also highlighted a new iPad Pro coming in 2022 that will support MagSafe wireless charging, as well as the ability to reverse charge other wireless devices.
