Transsion Holdings, which owns the Infinix, Tecno and Itel brands, has been called the “King of Africa” for many years, implying its dominant position in the African smartphone market.
According to the latest data, Transsion Holdings is developing a smartphone that supports 160W fast charging. More precisely, such a smartphone will be released under the Infinix brand, which has existed since 2013. Infinix smartphones are sold in Africa, Europe and Asia. The company has also made strides in India recently.
The source posted a photo of the Infinix Ultra Flash Charge, which indicates the power of 160 watts. This is much more than most flagships. For example, the OnePlus 9 Pro supports 65W charging, while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra charge at 67W. Oppo’s 125-watt charger was introduced last year.
So far, there is no information about the new Infinix smartphone, which will support 160W fast charging.
