According to a new report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will reveal an updated iPad mini 6 without a Home button this fall, as well as a large iMac with a new system-on-a-chip.
iPad mini 6 will change dramatically: a narrow bezel around the display, the abandonment of the Home button, straight edges and a display enlarged to 8.5-9 inches.
Basically, this is a scaled-down iPad Air 4 that was shown in 2020. The power button will also house a Touch ID sensor, and the Lightning port will be replaced with USB Type-C.
There is no information about the new iMac. We only know that it will be shown this fall. Probably, the display will also be increased by reducing the bezels, or they will make the candy bar itself more compact, retaining 27 inches.
Of course, we are waiting for a new system-on-chip Apple M1X or Apple M2. Please, Apple, make the aimak a bit thicker, but hide the power supply and add ports.
