Intel is already interested in AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution technology presented yesterday.
Raja Koduri, responding on Twitter, tweeted that the capabilities of the Xe-HPG architecture in this case provide approaches that provide better quality and performance. Koduri also noted that Intel will try to adhere to open approaches in order to simplify the work of developers.
As a reminder, FidelityFX Super Resolution is a cross-platform open standard that is technically supported by both older AMD graphics cards and Nvidia and Intel adapters. And if Nvidia has a successful DLSS technology, thanks to which AMD development may not be of interest to it for at least some time, then Intel FidelityFX Super Resolution will be beneficial.
