Speaking in court, Tesla and SpaceX founder billionaire Elon Musk said he didn’t like being the boss of Tesla.
I rather hate it, and I’d rather spend my time designing and developing.
He was summoned to court, accused of pressured Tesla board members to buy SolarCity, founded by his cousins, for $ 2.6 billion.
At the time of the transaction, Musk owned 22% of the shares of Tesla and SolarCity: “Since this was a share swap deal, and I owned the same percentage of both companies, I did not receive financial benefits,” Musk said.
He also denied putting pressure on board members, saying the deal was part of a “master plan” to create affordable, clean-powered vehicles.
Tesla shares gradually began to fall in price after the start of the trial.
