Together with the HUAWEI P40, the main Chinese electronics manufacturer presented its more advanced cousin – the HUAWEI P40 Pro. The gadget is equipped with a huge 6.58-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2640 x 1200 pixels. Unlike the base model, its frequency has been increased from 60 to 90 Hz.
The basis of the smartphone is a proprietary eight-core processor with support for fifth-generation networks Kirin 990 5G. The RAM is the same as the base model – 8 GB, but the permanent storage has been doubled – up to 256 GB. The main difference between sibling models is the design of the main camera.
Here it is not triple, but already quadruple, and with a more advanced set of sensors: a 50-megapixel main one with a maximum aperture of f / 1.9, this time supplemented with optical stabilization, a 40-megapixel one with an f / 1.8 aperture and ultra-wide-angle optics, a 12-megapixel one with f / 3.4 aperture and a telephoto lens and already five, not three times optical zoom.
The front camera has a main sensor with a resolution of 32 megapixels with an f / 2.0 aperture, equipped with an additional depth sensor. The 4,200mAh battery supports 40W fast wired charging, 27W wireless charging, and reverse charging. Meanwhile, the Koreans presented an inexpensive smartphone with a huge battery.
