The Chinese company Huawei has officially unveiled an interesting non-core device – the Smart Choice Mok Planet Smart Latex Pillow. The novelty can track data on sleep quality, heart rate, sleep cycles, breathing rate, number of turns, and the number of times the user’s head was lifted off the pillow.
All this data, collected using ultra-thin non-inductive sensors built into the pillow, is sent to a smartphone and collected in the Huawei Smart Life proprietary application. The pillow itself received a two-layer construction from the main part thick 9 centimeters and an additional removable enlarger with a thickness of 2 centimeters – so that everyone can adjust the height of the pillow to suit their own anatomical features.
The pillow is 93% made of natural latex, which is highly elastic and provides excellent support during sleep. Latex has tens of thousands of mesh holes that are responsible for natural ventilation.
