The Chinese company Honor has officially presented new versions of its MagicBook notebooks – MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15 Ryzen Edition. As the name suggests, the main difference from its predecessors was the use of AMD processors instead of Intel chips.

The basic version of the novelty received a six-core, twelve-thread Ryzen 5 5500U processor, capable of delivering from 2.1 to 4 GHz, the top-end – an eight-core, sixteen-thread Ryzen 7 5700U, operating at frequencies from 1.8 to 4.3 GHz. Laptops use 14- and 15.6-inch screens, respectively. In both cases, these are IPS-matrices with a resolution of Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels.

New items received 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB solid-state drives. The thickness of the younger model is 15.9 mm, its weight is 1.38 kilograms. Older – 16.9 mm and 1.54 kilograms. New items are running the Windows 10 operating system, but an update to Windows 11 has already been announced.

And the Lenovo ThinkStation P350 computers presented yesterday support top-end hardware and up to 7 drives.
