Several companies have pledged to release Qualcomm Snapdragon 888-powered phones in 2021. There is now information on the web that HMD Global is also working on a flagship smartphone based on the latest mobile platform. According to reports, the device will appear in late 2021.
There is very little information about the upcoming smartphone, but it is argued that we are not talking about the Nokia 9.3 PureView. The device is likely to hit the market under the name Nokia 10 PureView or Nokia 9 Sirocco. Also, today’s leak reports that the pending Nokia 9.3 PureView will see the light of day in the first half of next year. There is evidence that the phone will be based on the Snapdragon 865+ chip, not the Snapdragon 865 as previously thought.
Thus, it can be assumed that HMD Global will position the Nokia 9.3 PureView as an affordable flagship or even a high-end mid-budget model. As for the alleged Nokia 10, it will have to compete with next year’s premium smartphones.
