Nintendo Switch console owners can now play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The game, of course, was not officially released for the console – this is the merit of the enthusiasts.
The team behind the port reverse-engineered the GTA III and GTA VC source code, allowing the game to be ported to the Switch. Of course, to install such a port, the console itself must be modified accordingly, which not all of its owners will agree to.
Considering that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released back in 2002 initially on the PlayStation 2, there shouldn’t be any performance issues on the Switch.
