The accessory has passed the NCC certification
Samsung Electronics has every chance of releasing a wireless Galaxy SmartTag before Apple introduces its AirTag. The accessory, which should prove to be quite useful for the absent-minded user, has already passed NCC (National Taiwan Communications Commission) certification.
This indicates that the official debut of the novelty is not far off. In addition, quite official live photos of the device have been published in the NCC database. The photo confirmed earlier leaks regarding the design of the tag.
According to preliminary data, the accessory supports Bluetooth v5.1 and will be compatible with the Samsung SmartThings Find function to search for various objects.
Galaxy Smart Tags may debut as early as January 14 alongside the Galaxy S21 5G smartphones and Galaxy Buds Pro wireless headphones.
