Xiaomi today first introduced the Mi 11 Lite and Mi 11 Lite 5G smartphones for the Chinese home market, and then announced them for the European market. The characteristics of European and Chinese models are the same, but the prices are different. And not in favor of the Old World.
If in China the same Mi 11 Lite 5G in a version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory costs 350 dollars, then in Europe they ask 370 euros for this model. The base Mi 11 Lite in Europe costs 300 euros. It turns out that the markup for the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G 5G platform is about 50 euros – the usual Mi 11 Lite is built on a simpler platform – Snapdragon 732G. Apart from platforms (and a slight difference in weight), there is no difference between these models.
