Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy F62, a smartphone with rather unexpected characteristics.
Galaxy F62 has become a smartphone with a new design code for Samsung: it has not yet made such a back cover texture. The smartphone is available in three “laser” colours:
On the front, this is a typical Samsung 2020–2021: 6.7-inch Super AMOLED-display with Full HD + resolution, in the centre of which is placed the front camera. The maximum brightness is 420 nits, but the image refresh rate may not please someone: 60 Hz.
I called this smartphone unusual because it was installed. Firstly, the Samsung Galaxy F62 received a system-on-a-chip Exynos 9825. The same was in the flagships of the Samsung Galaxy Note10 line. Secondly, there is a massive 7000 mAh battery. It is charged from a 25 W power supply.
The smartphone will be sold in two versions: 6/128 or 8/128 GB. There is a slot for microSDXC memory cards up to 1 TB. RAM type LPDDR4x, built-in UFS 2.1.
The smartphone has five cameras in total:
- The main one takes pictures with a resolution of up to 64 megapixels. The lens with an equivalent focal length of 26 mm received a constant aperture of f / 1.8;
- The ultrawide was equipped with a 12-megapixel sensor. Viewing angle – 123 °, aperture – f / 2.2.
- There are also two useless modules here: a macro camera and a depth sensor, kind of necessary for blurring the background when shooting portraits. Both have a resolution of 5 megapixels and an aperture of f / 2.4;
- The fifth camera has become the front. She takes pictures with a resolution of 32 megapixels. Lens aperture – f / 2.0, focal length is equivalent to 26 mm.
Prices and availability
For now, the Samsung Galaxy F62 will only be sold in India. The start of sales is scheduled for February 22. Price – 24 thousand rupees (approximately $ 330 or exactly 24 thousand rubles). Whether the Galaxy F62 will appear outside of India and how much it will cost in this case is still unknown.
