Xiaomi has again released a stable version of MIUI 12 firmware based on Android 11 operating system for Redmi Note 9S smartphones in Europe.
Note that Xiaomi released Android 11 for the international version of Redmi Note 9S a few months ago, but then it was announced that the update was on hold due to an abundance of bugs. In India, the model is known under the name Redmi Note 9 Pro and it received the corresponding update already in November 2020. However, the Indian firmware of Redmi Note 9 Pro is not recommended to be installed on the international version of Redmi Note 9S.
Apparently, the issues have now been resolved as Xiaomi has made available Android 11 firmware again for the Redmi Note 9S. The MIUI 22.214.171.124 RJWEUXM update has a “stable beta” status and is available to a limited number of ordinary users. When Xiaomi is convinced that there are no major glitches, the firmware will be released to everyone. In addition to the standard Android 11 innovations, the update also brings the May 2021 Android security update.
In Russia, Redmi Note 9S in the official Xiaomi online store is offered at a price of 15,990 rubles.
