A new Huawei mobile device named WGR-AN19 (aka Huawei Wagner) has appeared in the database of the Chinese regulator TENAA. Under these catalog and code names, respectively, the MatePad Pro 2 is hidden.

The release of the MatePad Pro 2 is expected in May, and the release of the Huawei P50, due to the unstable supply of components for its assembly, is rumored to have been postponed to June, so the MatePad Pro 2 has every chance of becoming the first mobile device of the Chinese company with HarmonyOS preinstalled instead of Android – this OS is listed in the certification data.
It is reported that the MatePad 2 Pro is built on the Kirin 9000 single-chip platform and is equipped with a 12.2 or 12.6-inch screen. It is also endowed with LTE and 5G modems. More details will come after TENAA publishes detailed specifications after all certification tests have been completed. This usually takes up to a week.
