Huawei is making final preparations for the big premiere of new devices and the HarmonyOS platform. Meanwhile, interesting details about the flagship tablet Huawei MatePad Pro 2 have surfaced on the net.
A Chinese source posted a photo of the retail packaging of the tablet. On the box there is a large, clear inscription Power by HarmonyOS, which directly indicates that the new Huawei operating system is immediately installed on the tablet, and will not be released for it as a software update.
Huawei has already officially announced that it will release a new flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro 2, on June 2. The device will receive the HarmonyOS platform and the new second-generation Huawei M-Pencil stylus.
According to preliminary information, Huawei MatePad Pro 2 will be available in two versions. One will receive a 12.2-inch Huaxing screen, and the other will receive a 12.6-inch Samsung screen. Both displays are reported to support high refresh rates. The new MatePad Pro is powered by the Kirin 9000 series SoC and 8GB of RAM.
In addition, the documentation for the tablet from the Chinese regulator TENAA states that the power of its charger is 40 watts. According to Chinese sources, the new tablet from Huawei could be priced at around 4,999 Yuan ($ 785).
