The Taiwanese company ASRock has officially unveiled the new generation of its Mars 4000U miniature personal computer – Mars 5000U. The device retains the body of its predecessor, once declared the world’s thinnest PC based on AMD Ryzen processors. Its dimensions are 194 x 150 x 26 mm, and the volume of the case is 0.7 liters.

The novelty is built on the basis of the latest Ryzen processors of the Ryzen 5000U family. What specific chips are in question has not yet been reported. These can be both models built on the basis of the new Zen 3 architecture, as well as updated chips on the architecture of the previous generation Zen 2. The ports panel is represented by four USB 3.2, two USB 2.0, one USB-C, HDMI, VGA and RJ45, as well as SD card slot.

RAM – up to 32 GB. The computer supports the installation of two drives: an M.2 2280 SSD and a hard drive of a size 2.5 inch… Meanwhile, the Russian operator has launched the country’s first SIM cards with domestic encryption.
