Apple has confirmed that the annual WorldWide Developer Conference will be online only. The event is scheduled for June 7, 2021, with announcements of new operating systems and much more expected.
This year’s WorldWide Developer Conference will take place online from June 7th to 111th. As always, the focus will be on developers, and it is likely that Apple could release beta versions of new operating systems to developers.
More specifically, Apple will introduce iOS 15 for iPhone), iPadOS 15 for iPad, watchOS 8 for Apple Watch, macOS 12 for MacBook, Mac mini, Mac Pro and iMac, and tvOS 15 for Apple TV. Usually the June event is focused on software, but perhaps unexpected hardware announcements should not be ruled out.
In 2019, Apple surprised everyone with the announcement of the Mac Pro at WWDC, and in 2017, it also introduced the HomePod, iMac, and iPad. The official image hints at what may be the first to be revealed about Apple’s smart glasses.
