At WWDC 2021, Apple talked about innovations in areas such as security and privacy.
One of these innovations was the ability to inherit an Apple ID account. In the iCloud settings, you can specify a trusted person who can access your account in the event of your death. Also, the trusted person can provide a verification code to restore access if the user suddenly forgot his Apple ID password.
We’ve also improved security and privacy in Mail, Safari, Apps and Siri. Mail Privacy Shield prevents email tracking, and the App Privacy Report shows which apps share information with third parties. In addition, requests to Siri will now be processed right on the device by default.
