Rumors that Apple is preparing new MacBook Pros on the new single-chip Apple M1X system have ceased to be rumors, and through the fault of Apple itself: in the tags accompanying the video recording of the recently thundered WWDC 2021 event on YouTube, mentions of both the SoC itself and the new products based on it.

Alas, apart from the fact of confirming the existence of the MacBook Pro on the M1X, there are no more details. According to preliminary data, the company is preparing new models with mini-LED screens with a diagonal of 14 and 16 inches. The M1X central processing unit will have eight high-performance cores and two energy-efficient ones, while the GPU will have 16 or 32 cores. Accordingly, the M1X will be much more powerful than the current M1 SoC. Another major feature of the M1X is support for up to 64GB of RAM, while the M1 only supports a maximum of 16GB of RAM.
