The share of AMD processors among the systems of gamers on the Steam platform has exceeded 30%. This is indicated in the fresh May portion of the site statistics. For comparison, a year earlier the share of AMD processors barely exceeded 20%.

The largest share is now occupied by quad-core (40.62%) and six-core (30.30%) CPUs. At the same time, the share of eight-core processors grew most actively in just a month: by 0.33 percentage points to 13.1%.

AMD CPUs occupied 30% of the Steam platform, and there are still no Radeon RX 6000 video cards in statistics.

When it comes to graphics cards, AMD now has a 16.18% share, Intel has 8.08%, and Nvidia controls 75.63%. Moreover, there are no cardinal changes in this distribution even in the annual period.

The most popular video card remains the GeForce GTX 1060 with 8.95%, followed by the GTX 1050 Ti and the GTX 1650. Interestingly, the mobile RTX 3060 showed the greatest growth (by 0.21 percentage points). True, it now takes only 0.21 %. Among the current generations of Nvidia and AMD adapters, the best are, respectively, the RTX 3070 (1.48% with an increase of 0.1 percentage points) and … that’s it. The fact is that there is still not a single Radeon RX 6000 card in the Steam statistics. This is despite the fact that the worst indicator there is for the GeForce MX230 with 0.15%.
