The Taiwanese company Acer, without waiting for Intel’s official announcement, decided to present the new budget gaming laptops NITRO 5, built based on the new processors of the Tiger Lake-H35 family. These chips offer a higher level of performance than Tiger Lake-U and TDP bumped up to 35W.
The base model Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-56-57YH NH.QAMEH.001) with an Intel Core i5-11300H processor received a 15.6-inch IPS ComfyView display with a resolution of Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels, 8 GB of RAM, NVMe storage volume of 512 GB, and a discrete accelerator GeForce GTX 1650 with 4 GB of video memory of the GDDR6 format.
The older version of Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-56-72KT NH.QAMEH.005) is based on Intel Core i7-11370H and is also equipped with a 15.6-inch IPS-display with Full HD resolution, but with an increased refresh rate of 144 Hz and 16 GB of RAM. The rest of the characteristics are identical to the base model. Meanwhile, DxOMark has named the best smartphones for photography and video shooting.
