According to the latest rumors, the new MacBook Pro with 14- and 16-inch displays, scheduled for presentation this fall, will receive SD card slots with support for UHS-II technology.

This means that the read speed will increase to 312 MB / s. Regular SD card slots offer speeds of the order of 100 MB / s.

And a couple more news: several LEDs will appear in the power button with a Touch ID sensor. For a beautiful animation of a fingerprint or just as a backlight – it is not known.

The amount of RAM will be limited to 32 GB, although it was previously reported that in the Pro version it will be possible to install up to 64 GB.

Apple is also preparing for strong demand for its new laptops and has brought in a second supplier to manufacture miniLED displays. Initially, the company only contracted with Taiwan Surface Mounting Technology, and now Luxshare Precision Industry has been added.

The new MacBook Pro is expected to be shown in the fall, perhaps even in September. We are waiting for a redesign, a larger display in the younger version, a powerful system-on-a Apple M1X chip, more ports and the absence of a Touch Bar.
